shallowness

I posted a ficlet last night – Indelible, post-7.03 Orange Blossom Ice Cream, Patrick/Teresa (so weird to type their first names, but apt, I think.) Season 7 has made me break my Mentalist duck. Well, I saw there’s another fic among my files, which I haven’t dared open. Basically, there’s a part of me that thinks that there should be more making out after each episode, apparently. That was partly the motivation for that ficlet.

I’m still miles behind on Revenge, but caught up on 4.5 Repercussions last night.

So, I posted Nothing Stays the Same on Friday morning. It was my 'attempt to get into Edith's head between the Christmas special and series 4' fic. I started writing it in longhand before typing it up, because it's easier to edit that way. I also listened to the song of the same title several times and debated with myself whether the ending/whole thing was too sentimental or not. I think it's okay, given the subject matter, it's Edith and it's Downton Abbey! Despite the fact that I think I watch the show differently from most viewers, I do find I have fic I want to write about it.

Over the weekend, I caught up with a couple of Person of Interest episodes, although I'm still behind.

Last night, I happened to chance on Farscape airing on PickTv (Sky's front window on Freeview, I think - I had known that Sky was going to be re-airing it). I missed the opening couple of minutes, maybe. So that led to nearly an hour of 'Oh, my babies'. Farscape is one of the shows of my heart, so I was celebrating seeing them all again. I tried to catch up on last week’s Revenge (3.11, Homecoming) on 4 on Demand, but it wasn’t available for whatever reason, so I had to turn to Television without Pity. Huh, turns out the recap writer is anti-Jack and pro-Aidan, which is the opposite of where I am. Also, ( spoiler )

I watched Brooklyn Nine Nine and laughed a bit, but I have nothing more to say about it.

E4 has been advertising Revenge over the past week with a really funny trailer about how getting all Revenge-y makes the characters sigh. A lot. It is basically clips of everyone exhaling.
